Overview

The LabTech Extrapid Manual Cartridge-Disk SPE System with VP50 Vacuum Pump is a flexible solid-phase extraction (SPE) system designed for routine sample preparation and the processing of large-volume samples.

Extrapid supports both SPE cartridges and extraction disks and can process up to four samples individually or simultaneously. Independent flow control and three-way valves provide convenient control over sample collection and waste discharge, helping streamline manual vacuum-based SPE workflows.

This US configuration is supplied as a complete Extrapid package with a LabTech VP50 vacuum pump, 110V/60Hz, under LabTech P/N US-EXTP-SPE.

Cartridge & Disk Compatibility

The Extrapid platform accommodates:

• 1 mL, 3 mL and 6 mL SPE cartridges
• 47 mm and 90 mm SPE disks
• Up to 4 samples, processed individually or simultaneously

This allows a single SPE platform to support both cartridge- and disk-based extraction workflows.

Flow Control & Operation

Extrapid provides an adjustable sample flow range of 1–45 mL/min, allowing flow to be controlled according to the extraction method and sample requirements.

The system incorporates three-way valves for sample collection and waste discharge together with individual flow control. Its design eliminates the need to repeatedly switch the vacuum pump on and off during normal processing and helps simplify collection and waste handling during multi-step SPE procedures.
