These cartridges are made from a proprietary blend of coconut shell GAC, catalytic carbon GAC, and Eagle Redox Alloy® 6500. Together, these materials provide an excellent solution for reducing unpleasant tastes and odors caused by chlorine and chloramines. Coconut shell GAC offers superior reduction of VOCs compared to standard GAC cartridges, while catalytic carbon GAC is especially effective at targeting chloramine-related taste and odor. The addition of Eagle Redox Alloy® 6500 helps prevent bacterial growth and further enhances the overall performance of the GAC media.
